The function of offering 1008 conches decoration on the main deity of Solapuri Amman at Sri Solapuri Amman Temple at Kuyappettai near Vellore on Tuesday, 17th March.
This function was celebrated as the 3rd anniversary of the Kumbhabhishekham of the temple.
The ceremonies of kalasa Sthapanam, Sangu sthapanam, and Ganapathi Pooja were performed on Monday (16th March) evening.
On the early morning of Tuesday, 17th March, 2nd Yaga Poojai and Maha Poornahoodi were performed.
‘Sangabhishekham’ (decoration with conches) commenced at 9.00 AM and was completed by 11.00 AM.
