12,130 MBBS and BDS applications were sold on Wednesday, the first day of distribution in Tamil Nadu… The three top medical colleges in Chennai sold more than 2,500 applications. Distribution of applications for medical and dental courses began in the 19 medical colleges in the state and the government dental college in the city. Sources from the directorate of medical education said 1,531 applications were sold at Kilpauk Medical College, 669 at Madras Medical College and 336 at Stanley Medical College from 9am to 5pm.
