2nd stage Polio Drop administration for children at Vellore district on 22nd February!

The second stage of Polio drop administration for children in Vellore district is scheduled on 22^nd February 2362 camps have been organised for this.

All children under 5 years of age are administered with polio drops frree every year by the government.

Stage is set for 2^nd session for polio drops administration on 22^ndFebruary in Vellore district.

Camps are being organised in the national highway toll-gates. 56 camps are organised at major bus stations, train stations, and toll-gates.

13 additional camps are organised for the remote areas where there are not much transport facilities.

Speical camps will take care of the visitors from other states, Sri Lanka Tamils, etc for polio drops administration.

9028 employees and 277 supervisors have been deployed from the public health & education departments for this.

All children below 5 years of age must be given this polio drop administration even though they had been treated ealier for the same.The medicine is safe and has no side-effects.
