An industrialist from Gudiyatham has donated 3 new Dialysis machines to Vellore Adukkamparai government hospital.
A dialysis unit was started in Vellore Government hospital in February this year.
M L A Mr. Kalaiarasu arranged for 2 dialysis machines from his constituency fund (quota) at a cost of Rs. 16 Lakhs.
These 2 dialysis machines are now in operation for treatment f patients.
In this scenario, the popular industrialist and social service activist from Gudiyatham, Mr. Javerilal Jain, has donated 3 new dialysis machines and 1 water-purification plant (RO system) for the Vellore Adukkamparai government hospital.
A function was organised on this donation & new addition.
College Dean Sidhi Athiya Muanavara presided over the function.
Superintended Soundarapandiyan, In-ward medical officer in-charge Shakil led the event.
Departmental head Philomena welcomed the gathering.
MLA Kalaiarasu &Badalbhai Kewalchand werethe chief guests.
They inaugurated the new equipment.
Dialysis machines & water purification equipment donor, noted industrialist and social service activist, Mr. Jhaverilal Jain addressed the gathering. He informed that 3 new dialysis machines have been given to the hosiptial where the patient traffic is quite high.
These machines are vital for the patiented with kidney affection.
He suggested that the equipment must be used and maintained properly.
He also suggested that the government should permit to arrange for getting 3dialysis machines for Gudiyatham government hospital also.
College Dean, Mr. Sidhi Athiya Munavara, informed that 328 patients have been given free treatment in the last 2 months with the existing dialysis machines. With the addition of 3 more machines, it would now be possible to ttreat 8patients daily.
All senior doctors a,d local officials participated.
