Public interest kindled again on Siddha Treatment!!

This news was informed by Vellore District Master of entomology, Mr. Gopalarathnam.

Mother-infant wellness camp was organised jointly under the auspices of Spot Advertisment Offices in Vellore & Puducherry, Tamil Nadu Parampariya Siddha Vaidya Maha Sangam, and Village Women Development Association in the village of Yeripudhur located near Dam (anaikkattu) on Wednesday, 12thAugust.

Master of Entomology, Mr. Gopalarathna, inaugurated the camp and addressed the camp:

Siddha Medicine system had been pushed back for many decades by the Allopathic (English) Medicines. However, the public have started realising the good effects of Siddha treatment. As a result, Siddha treatment has been picking up especially in the last 10 years.

When there was an epidemic of Dengue & Chickenguniya in Tamil Nadu in 2012, it could not be controlled by application of allopathic treatment. When a decoction of ‘Nilavembu’ was administered to patients, it showed good response and treatment.

It has been established that mosquito repellers made from plants are the most effective.

Senior Siddha medical experts participated and greeted on the occasion.

‘Healthy Baby’ was conducted during the camp and prizes were given to the winners.
