The sales of Maruti & Hyundai cars have increased during the month of December.
The sales of Maruti cars in December went up by 13.5% and 111333 new cars were sold.
As a comparison, during the last year month of December, 98109 new Maruti cars were sold.
The sales of smaller cars like WagonR, Alto, etc went up by 7.5%. The sales of cars like Swift, Ritz, and Desire went up by 14%.
During the whole year of 2015, a total of 14 Lakhs Maruti vehicles have been sold.
The sales of Hyundai cars during the month of December went up by 28% and 41861 new vehicles were sold. In comparison, during December 2014, 32504 vehicles were sold.
The Vice-president (Sales) of Hyundai, Mr. Rakesh Shrivasthava, informed that the growth in sales was due to the vehicles Grand I10, Elite I10, and Greta.
In total, during the whole year of 2015, 476601 Hyundiai vehicles have been sold.
Mahindras has reported an inc rease in sales of 1%. During decmber, 2014, 34460 vehicles were sold. In the whole year 2015, 34839 vehicles have been sold.
Ford India’s December growth is recorded as 57%. During December 2014, 2754 vehicles were sold.
During December 2015, 5935 vehicles have been sold.
\The President for Sales, Mr., Anuraag Mehrotra, informed that 2015 has been an outstanding year for Ford.
December sales of Royal Enfield are up by 41%. During December 2014, 28634 vehicles were sold. During December 2015, 40455 vehicles have been sold.
