Most people tend to believe they will be happier if their income increases.
However, a latest research effort establishes that money and happiness have no links.
A research team from Sterling University of England undertook the research by a survey with 18000 persons from England and Germany on this topic.
The researchers assimilated the data regarding the income changes in the lives of these 18000 persons and the contentment and happiness in their lives and reviewed it.
As per the research report, when they get a higher income, the humans do not really get contentment or happiness. However, if income reduces, they experience mental tension and sadness.
The research establishes that if the people are protected from the fear of loss of income, they would be happy.
