Space researchers have discovered 4 planets which are much larger than Sun.
In the country Chile, located in South America, space research is being done a by a team headed by Mr. Mathias Jones from ‘Pontifical Catholic University’.
The space research team headed by Mathias Jones has installed telescopes of sizes 1.5 metres, 2.2 metres, and 3.9 metres for research purposes in the space laboratory centres in Chile & Australia.
During the research, they have discovered 4 new planets which were orbiting the stars in space. These planets weigh 2.4 times to 5,5 times than the planet Jupiter. It was also found that these planets revolve around the stars over a period of 2 to 4 Earth Years.
The research team has named the 4 newly discovered planets as HIP8541, HIP74890, HIP84056, and HIP95124.
The planet HIP8541 is larger than the other 3 planets.
This takes 1560 days to complete one revolving cycle around the star.
The stars around which these new planets orbit are all much larger than the Sun.
