On Friday, the Sathuvachari Sub Post Office in Vellore has been under Project Arrow, was inaugurated by M. Abdul Rahman, Vellore MP.
Mr. Abdul Rahman said that he has pleaded for a hike in salary of the postmen at the meetings of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Communications and IT.
The Sathuvachari Sub Post Office has been modernised under Project Arrow at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh.
Ramps for the differently-abled, proper sign boards and standardised chairs for customers have been provided in the office.
