It is not proper to follow any strict dieting order immediately after delivery to reduce weight. The main reason for this is that there would not be sufficient minerals and nutrients for the woman immediately after delivery;
For women who had caesarian operation, it is compulsory to take complete rest for 2-3 weeks. This will enable the stitches after the operation to heal.

Good fats – Mono and poly-unsaturated fats are good for the body. They must be taken regularly. Avocado, olive oil, salmon fish and aniseeds are rich in these fats.
Spinach à Spinach gives all essential nutrients and vitamins and also helps reduce weight.
Milk – Breast-feeding mothers should take calcium & iron rich food items such as milk and milk foods. It is better to take lots of milk after delivery. Especially, skimmed milk is rich in calcium and helps reduce body weight.
Lemon – Lemon helps reduce body weight and also removes all t
oxic elements in the body. Mix lemon juice and a few drops of honey in warm water and take in the early morning in empty stomach. This will remove the excess fat in the body
Berries – .Berry fruits help weight reduction. They are rich in anti-oxidants. So, it is better to take berries regularly after delivery.
Avoid tough exercises – when thinking about reducing weight; do not undertake any strenuous physical exercises.
