Senior Professor of VIT honoured with Fellowship of CSI

Mr. H.R. Vishwakarma, Senior Professor, School of Information Technology and Engineering, VIT University, Vellore, has been conferred the Fellowship of the Computer Society of India (CSI) for his individual contributions in the field of information and communication technologies.

He was presented the Fellowship Award and felicitated at the 49th CSI Annual Convention and Golden Jubilee Celebration held at Hyderabad recently.

The Fellowship is conferred for professional distinction to those who have outstanding qualifications and experience in the fields of interest to the CSI.

The Fellowship is given only on the invitation of the CSI Executive Committee.

In this regard, Prof. P. Kalyanaraman and Prof. G. Jagadeesh of the VIT were also honoured with the Chapter Patron Award and Significant Contribution Award respectively for their contributions towards CSI Vellore Chapter activities.
