Treatment for Swine-flu patients at government hospitals!

Vellore Collector, Mr. R. Nandhagopal inaugurated a special ward in the 11 government hospitals in Veloore district for treatment gor swine-flu patients.

 A special air-conditioned ward for preventive action for swine-flu attacks and also 5 beds for treating patients with swine-flu was inaugurated at the Wallaja government hospital.

 A similar arrangement is made for all the government hospitals in the district.

 Until now, no patients with swine-flu fever had been admitted in the government hospitals.

Precaution:

Cover the mouth & nose with a cloth during cough & sneeze. Wash these cloths thouroughly and dry them under the sun. Consult the doctor when having symptoms of fever, cough, and throat pain.

If affected with swine-flu. The patient should be at a distance of 1 metre from others in ordr to prevent infection.

The collector inspected the wards for pre-delivery & psot-delivery periods for pregnant women.

The local senior officials and doctors of the government hospital participated.
