10 workers died during the recent effluent tank burst at one of the tanneries in SIPCOT, Ranipet. An order was given to inspect all the tannery plants in the area followed by removal of effluents.
Thirupathur assistant Collector, Mr. Rangarajan, inspected the tanneries in Thuthipattu and Maligaithoppu in Ambur.
All seniopr officials joined hime in the inspection.
