Mass cleaning for prevention of dengue fever was carried out yesterday (Thursday, 20th February) at Abdullapuram local administration near Vellore.
The awareness march commenced from the local administration office. It was flagged off by the district development officer.
Activites for prevention of dengue fever were carried out in the area. The garbage and unwanted growth in the area were removed. Bleaching powder was sprayed in the deep bore-wells and sintex tanks.Senior local officials participated.
