+2 examinations commenced yesterday (5th March). In several schools, the student entered the examination halls after prayers.

+2 examinations commenced throughout Tamil Nadu yesterday (Thursday, 5th March).
42,438 students are writing the +2 examinations in 144 centres.
29 differently-abled students are also writing the +@ exams.
2 vigilance officers were deployes in each exam centre.
It has been announced that the examination will commence at 10.00 AM. Students started arriving right from 8.00 AM.The students exchanged mutual greetings & well wishes.
Seating themselves in the available open spaces, the students revised their preparations of important questions. They also clarified their doubts with other students.
All of them conducted special prayers for good performance before entering the examination hall.
The students were checked for concealing any bits containing information. They were asked to remove their shoes, belts, and ties.
Tamil was the subject on the 1st day of the examination. Question papers were distributed at 10.00 AM.
As the first 10 minutes are allottewd for reading the question paper, the students spent time on the same and went through the question paper patiently. Then, they filled in their particulars on the answer-sheets. Then the examination started earnest.
Flying squads were deployed to prevent copying and other malpractices.
District collector, Primary Education Officer, and district education officials conducted the checking.
The collector informed thast 42,438 students are writing +2 examinations in Vellore district. 29 visually-impaired students are also writing the exams with help from assistants. .
Facilities for drinking water, undisturbed power-supply have been arranged for the students and these were checked.
2members of the flying squad were deployed at each centre. 225 invigilators have been deployed. The examination was over at 1.15 PM.
The answer sheets were collected and taken with high-level security.
A police force of 200 personnel has also been deployed in Vellore district for +2 exams.
