An awareness camp for avoiding plastic material was conducted at Vellore Venkateswara High School.
Department of Tamil Nadu Environment and Vellore’s Green Endowment jointly organised this camp.
The district coordinator for National Green Force & environment associations, Mr. N. Margasagayam, presided. Venkateswara High School Headmaster, Mr. Sivakumar conducted the camp.
The participating students were given cloth bags containing leaflets about the awareness to avoid plastic materials.
The leaflets were distributed arounf Vellore Sathuvachary & Katpadi localities.
