The grand ‘Flower Palanquin’ festival was celebrated at the famous Ambur ‘Seetha-sametha Kothandaramar temple on Monday, 6th April.
On this special occasions, special prayers (Aaradhanas) were performed on the main deity of the temple.
This was followed by a special ‘Homam’.
‘Annadhanam’ (free food’ was served for the devotees in the afternoon. The event of divine marriage was performed in the evening.
After this, the deities were carried on a palanquin adorned with flowers across the main streets of the city and offered Darshan to the eager devotees.
