Jolappettai’s Cooperative Union President, Mr. Ramesh, informed that funds of Rs. 1.44 Crores have been allotted to tide over the shortage of drinking water.
Jolarpettai Cooperative Union meeting was conducted on Tuesday, 7thApril, at the cooperative union office presided by Mr. Ramesh.
City development officer Mr. Suresh Babu welcomed the gathering. He insisted that every member should take immediate action to tide over the problems faced in their relevant localities.
The Union President responded informing that deep bore-wells will be sunk in the locations recommended by the members to tide over the shortage of drinking water.
Each member will be given funds of Rs. 6 Lakhs for a total of Rs. 1.44 Crores.
