Vellore district collector, Mr. R. Nandhagopal, ordered that all pending issues will have to be completed immediately in a review meeting.
A special progress review meeting for March 2015 was conducted for all revenue-related officers in Vellore district yesterday (Tuesday, 21st April).
Collector Nandhagopal presided. District revenue officer organised.
The collector informed that progress on various tasks such as issue of incomecertificates, land exchange, land ownership change, petitions received Amma plans, Collection of revenue, removal of encroachments, inspection of government school hostels for boys & girls, Fair Price Shops, inspection of noon-meal scheme and Anganwadi centres which are to be carried out by revenue department, Social Protection Scheme, Adi Dravida welfare department, Backward community welfare department, district distribution department, election department, and land surveys.
The collector ordered tha all pending tasks should be completed immediately. All Tashildars should immediately carry out inspection of all panchami lands in their region. Assistant collectors and Tashildars should closely monitor & inspect all the sand quarries in the district.
All senior officials participated.
