Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ms. Vanitha, instructed the girl students that any hesitation to venturing out being afraid of the problems likely to be encountered will only intensify the problems further.
A special awareness programme was conducted for the girl students of 6th Standard to 12th Standard of Vaniyambadi Sigaram Matric High School on Thursday, 11thJune.
DSP Vanitha spoke on this occasion.
She instructed that the girl students should immediately share information if anyone is doing unwanted mischievous activities are making fun to the parents, teachers and police.
If such thing happens or if anyone attacks in a public place, one should immediately shout and seek the help of the persons nearby.
If you are afraid to venture out because of the problems, they will only intensify. However, sharing such information immediately will solve the problem.
One should not be led by the thought that informing the police will bring a bad reputation to the family.
They should know such matters are kept confidential at the police stations.
Between the age of 13 & 19, it is quite understandable that we cannot distinguish very much between what is good and what is not!
When facing such doubts, it is always better to consult with known elders, parents. Or teachers.
Only on reaching the age of 20, the individual becomes mature enough to take correct decisions regarding life-related matter.
Hence, do not make any hasty decisions at younger ages.
In the examinations for 6th to 12th standards, questions are mostly asked from the lessons and the daily news. Hence, thorough reading of the lessons will help in scoring high marks.
