Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa inaugurated a mobile medical treatment caravan for the benefit of differently-abled children below 6 years of age to facilitate tissue-exercise treatment.
Tamil Nadu government has given Vellore district all the equipment required for tissue-exercise and also the leaflest for the awareness among the public about the various assistane plans from the government. Testing equipment have also been given meant for the differently-abled people.
Collector R. Nandhagopal launched the operation of the mobile treatment facility and addressed the gathering:
This facility would be extremely useful for the differently-abled children below 6 years of age. All required equipment for teating and imparting tissue-exercises are fitted in the caravan.
When the treatment caravan travels tio the village centres, tissue-exercises are given to the differently-abled children and also tests are conducted to offer consultation and treatment.
Parents of the differently-abled children will be given consultation to handle their children and also public will be explained about the various health benefit schemes of the government.
This was followed by a demonstration of the usage of the equipment.
