Anna University for general category counselling began on the 1st of July. A total of 57,954 people were invited to participate in the counselling until Sunday whereas 44,220 students have chosen and 13,531 students did not participate. 203 students have avoided the choosing of college. Now, 1,48,896 engineering seats are vacant. For sections of courses, E.C.E always leading for large section of the students. So far 9,138 students have opted for this category.
Followed by 8,723 students for Mechanical, 6,100 students for CSE, 5,389 for EEE, 4,978 students for Civil have chosen.
