This will be played in Chepauk Stadium in Chennai from 5thAugust till 12th August.

India ‘A’ would be playing 2 official Test matches against Australia ‘A’ before this 1-day series.

The 1st official test between the 2 ‘A’ teams started at Cheapuk stadium, Chennai yesterday, Wednesday, 22nd July.

India ‘A’ won the toss and started batting. Lokesh Rahul & Abhinav Mukund opened. Abhinav Mukund was out after scoring 9 runs.

Captain Pujara joined Rahul and both played steadily.

They were separate at the score of 127. Pujara scored 55. Karun Nayar, who came in next, played 15 balls without scoring and then got out.

Shreyas Iyer got out after scoring 30 runs. Lokesh Rahul got out after scoring 96 runs giving a catch to Khwaja off Sean Abbot. Naman Ojha scored 10 runs before getting out.

Sudden rain sropped play when the score was 221 for 6 wickets after 77.1 overs. Further play was not possible. Vijay Shankar with 4 runs and Amit Mishra without any score were at the crease.

For Australia ‘A’ team, Andrew Beckett & Steve O\Keefe took 2 wickets each. Sandhu & Sean Abbot took a wicket each.

The 2nd days play is being played today, Thursday, 23rd July.
