Soya Briyani!

soya1Ingredients:

Basmati rice – 2 cups

Soya dumpling – 15,

Large onion – 3,

Tomato – 3,

Green chilly – 1,

Ginger, garlic paste – 2 spoon,

Mint – half packs,

Coriander leaves – ¼ pack,

Chilli powder- 1 teaspoon,

Slightly sour yogurt – ¼ cup,

Lemon juice – 1 lid,

Bark, cinnamon, cardamom – each 2,

Ghee – 1 tablespoon,

Oil – 3 tbsp,

Salt – as required.

Method:

  • Wash the rice, add water to soak in as much as one and half as compared to rice.

  • Add soya in boiling water for ten minutes and rinse with cold water once.

  • Chop onions and tomatoes in lengthwise.

  • Scratch the chillies.

  • Clean mint and parsley well.

  • In a pressure cooker add ghee, bark, cinnamon, cardamom for seasoning and add onions, add a pinch of salt and saute well until the color changes.

  • After that tomatoes, chilli powder to be added and fry for three minutes, yogurt, lemon juice have to be added after tomatoes cooked well.

  • If yogurt boiled well, add the soaked rice with water.

  • Add salt as needed and put a weight on the lid.

  • After a whistle came, keep the flame in sim mode and stir it for ten minutes.
