Mr. Sundar Pichai, who hails from Tamil Nadu, has been chosen to be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for ‘Alphabet’, the company being set up by Google as a restoration,
Google’s joint founder Larry Page has announced the creation of the new company. He informed that Mr. Sundar Pichai would be the CEO of the new search engine company.
In his blog, Mr. Larry Page has informed that Mr. Sundar Pichai would head ‘Alphabet’. Google’s other founder Mr. Sergei Brin would be the Head.
Mr. Page recorded that Google has been performing well. Still, efforts have been undertaken to improve the services to be more beneficial with extra features. Hence, the new company ‘Alphabet’ is formed. Mr. Sundar Pichai, holding an important position in Google, will be the CEO of Alphabet. He has appreciated the efforts and dedication of Mr. Subdar Pichai which was a source for enthusiasm.
Mr. Larry Page has observed that he is aware that Mr. Sundar Pichai would continue to make new inventions.
Mr. Sundar Pichai was born in Chennai city. He studied in Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School. He studied in IIT Kharagpur for his B Tech. He secured M S from Stanford University. He got his MBA from Warden College in Pennsylvania.
He has been working in Google from 2004. He is currently Senior Vice-president in charge of Android & Google Chrome sections.
Prior to joining Google, he was a consultant in McKenzie Software concerns.
