Applications invited for postman, mail guard, etc in Post Offices

Tamil Nadu Postal Circle has released an announcement to fill the vacant 806 posts in different categories including postman, mail guard, etc.

Candidates who have passed 10^th standards are eligible to apply.

The candidates should he minimum 18 years of age as on 7^th December, 2014 and under the age of 27.

Relaxation of age limit is permissible as per Government reservation Schemes.

For the post of postman, candidates should have passed ‘Matric’ (10^th Standard) and for the post of mail guard, the candidates should have completed Matric or equivalent.

The selections will be based on skill tests and the vacancies will be filled.

Application fee will be Rs. 100/- for all categories. Common and OBC communities will have to pay Rs. 400/- as examination fee.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST and the female candidates can pay the examination fees at the electronic counters at the Post Offices.

Eligible candidates should apply on-line before 7^th December.. Examination Fees should be paid before 10^th December.
