Following the retirement of Dr. Sivakamr who was the Superintendent of the Vellore Government Medical College Hospital, Dr. Soundirapandiyan has been appointed in his place.
Dr. Soundirapandiyan assumed office on Monday, 4th May.
Until now, he was the head of the General Surgery department.
He started his service in 1987 at Chennai Madras Medical College. He joined Vellore Government Medical College as the Head of General Surgeries Department 4 years ago.
