Bank Employees To Strike On 10th February

Since there is no further improvement in the Indian Banks’ Association’s initial offer of wage revision, the United Forum of Bank Unions has called a 48-hour, nationwide strike from February 10.
Bipartite talks were held between the IBA and the UFBU in Mumbai for more than three hours. The managements increased their offer from 9.5 to 10 per cent. However, the unions rejected the increase, saying it was “inadequate.”
