The chariot of Vallimalai Sri Subramanyan Temple returns to its station-spot!

The chariot of the Katpadi Sri Vallimalai Subrmanyan temple reached its station after the procession ceremony.

Masi month Brhamotsa for the temple started on 22^nd February. Tte deity is taken on procession daily along the streets of the city.

The most important event of the Brahmotsav, the chariot procession, started on Sunday (1^st March) evening. The chariot kept moving for the next 3 days via Thundukarai, Somanthapuram, Chinnakeesakuppam, Perumalkuppam, and other villages and returned to its station on Wednesday (4^th March).

Thousands of devotees raised the slogan, ‘Arohara! Arohara’!’

The dety was taken on procession on horse carriage on Thursday (5^th March), followed by ;Vedarpari’ ceremony and the divine marriage ceremony. ‘Iravu Pinakku Theerkum Utsavam’, Vasantha Utsavam, and procession on the main streets are performed.

On Friday (6^th April), 108 Conches Abhishekham is performed at 10.00 AM and then ‘kedayam ceremony’.

Brhamotsav comes to a close on the 13^th day.
