Chennai City has been brought under the security Circle following the bomb blast at Chennai Central railway station.
Security level has been increased at places where people crowd.
Additional security has been posted at Egmore railway Station, Meenambakkam Airport, and other important locations. Koyambedu and the market area has also been provided with extra security.
Extra security has been arranged at temples, churches, and mosques.
All incoming vehicles towards Chrennai are being checked thoroughly.

Chennai Central Bomb Blast – All 10 patients in RGGHSS OK
The 10 persons who were severely injured in Yesterday morning’s bomb blast at Chennai Railway station are progressing well.
Chennai District Collector Ms Sundaravalli, Health Secretary, Mr. Radhakrishnan, and MLA Mr. Karuppiaiah visited RGGHS. They have requested the doctors to arrange the required medical attention quickly.
Ms. Sundaravalli informed:

14 persons got injured. All are being treated on top priority. A medical team is treating & watching progress.One person has been severely injured on the neck. The rest have suffered only minor injuries.
One person belongs to Andhra Pradesh. The rest are all from North India.
All are progressing well and there is no danger for their lives.
