Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms. Jayalalithha inaugurated 126 E-Service Centres set up by Chennai Corporation at a cost of Rs. 1,95,54,948/-.
E-servce centres are being run by Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Company. All the E-service centres include a facility to pay the Electricity Bills also.
Also, 16 types of services from the revenue Department including Income certificate, Caste Certificate, etc, and 13 Services offered by the Social Welfare Department can be availed in all the E-Service Centres, for a total of 54 Services.
