A ‘convocation’ and prize-distribution ceremony was conducted for the tiny-tots (boys & girls) studying in the primary classes in the Seventh Day Adventist Matriculation School at Otteri near Vellore.
The school principal, A, Vijayakumar, headed the reception committee.
Vellore Assistant Police Superintendant, Mr. Panneerselam, was the Chief Guest and distributed the ‘degrees’ & prizes and addressed the gathering.
In his talk, Police Inspector, Mr. Nagarajan, gave advices on public safety awareness.
Over 300 UKG children received the ‘degrees’! Prizes were given to the best students from 1st Standard to 12th Standard.
The school treasurer, Mr. Thangaraj, organised the event. Police sub-inspector Deepa, school headmaster Mr. Sam Nelsonraj, and the students and their parents participated.
This was followed by cultural programmes by the tiny-tot students!
