The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices (SSP), Vellore Division has invited applications from interested students for participating in the 44th letter-writing contest the Department of Posts proposed to conduct on 4thJanuary in Chennai.
All school students up to the age of 15 are eligible to take part in the contest which is to be held in Anjugam Higher Secondary School in Jubilee Road, West Mambalam, Chennai from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Theme – The theme of the contest is `How do I want the world to develop’?
The letter could be written in any of the languages mentioned in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution.
Applications should be sent through the respective schools to the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Vellore Division, Vellore-632001 before December 22.
Prizes – The first three entries at the national level would be given cash prizes of Rs.5000, Rs.3000 and Rs.2000 respectively.
Each state would be given a consolation prize of Rs.1000.
