Director 0f School Education: All Schools to have holidays from 24th Dec till 1st Jan

Director of School Education, Mr. Kannappan, has announced that all schools will have holidays from 24^th December till 1^st January, 2016 which includes festivals like Miladi Nabi, Christmas, and New Year.

He explained that the list of school holidays for the academic year has already been decided, printed and distributed. As per the schedule, the schools will have holidays from 24^th December, 2015 till 1^st January, 2016. This vacation includes festivals of Miladi Nabi, Christmas, and New Year.

Special classes for the students of SSLC & +2 must not be conducted opn the dates 24^th, 25^th, 27^th, and 1^st Jan in the districts of Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, and Cuddalore. Special classes for SSLC & +2 students may be conducted in these 4 districts on all other dates during the above declared holidays.
