10th Battalion NCC Public Relations Officer First Officer K Raja has been promoted as the Chief Officer. The event of giving the promotion letter and affixing the star on the shoulder badge was conducted. Battalion Commanding Officer fixed the additional star on the shoulder and felicitated the promoter.
Commanding officer Colonel Rajech Kumar completed his tenure and being transferred to Battalion 16 in 16. A farewell function was organised.
After this, a debate was conducted under the leadership of the Director of Tamil Nadu NCC Directorate, Colonel Babu Francis regarding celebration of International Yoga Day.
Colonel Babu Francis informed that it has been decided to assemble all NCC students on the International Yoga Day on 21st June as per the joint agreement in the meeting of all Director Generals.
The central government has been undertaking efforts to increase the number of NCC students to 25 Lakhs from the current 12 Lakhs.
