There have been more frequent heavy tremors in the Himalayas and adjoining areas and a huge earthquake in Himalayas region. There was a 6.9 Richter earthquake in Sikkim in 2011.Then, there was a 7.3 Richter earthquake in Nepal in 2015. Recently, there was a 6.7 Richter earthquake in Manipiur.
This might be an indication that Himalayas Mountains may be collapsing.
As a probable sequence, there might be even more severe earthquakes in this region. It may be of the order of 8.2 Richter or more.
These earthquakes are caused due to changes taking places in planet Earth’s shape. Because of this, India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar may have to encounter great disasters.
The Director of the National Disaster Management Council, Mr. Santhosh Kumar, informed that these frequent tremors may cause great damages to the mountainous states in the region, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and North-eastern states.
