Vellore district Mr. R. Nandhagopal announced that the village of Agaramchery, adopted by Member of Parliament, Mr. Senguttuvan, is to be declared as a self-sufficient village.
Vellore MP, Mr. P. senguttuvan had adopted Agaramchery village under the ‘Sansad Adarsha Gramin Yojana’ scheme.
Special public relations camp was organised. District collector presided. Other senior officials made leading participations.
Member of Parliament, Mr. P. Sneguttuvan was the Chief Guest and distributed welfare schemes to 60 beneficiaries.
Considering the welfare of the village residents, medical camps, job opportunities camps, entrepreneurship training will continue to be organised for this village.All basic amentites required by the village will be arranged.
As informed by the Member of Parliament, the village is declared as self-sufficient.
Action will be taken to resume senior citizens’ pension on re-application for the deserving cases.
All local senior officials were present.
