Residents of Vellore have been urged to donate for the Flag Day and exceed this year’s target of Rs. 52.42 lakh.
Lat last year, the Ex-servicemen Welfare Department had fixed a target collection of Rs. 36,97,100 for Flag Day. Till 6th December funds to the tune of Rs. 60.80 lakh have been collected.
The public should come forward to donate for the welfare of the families of the Armed Forces, who are protecting the country, and for the welfare of families of personnel, who had died protecting the country. A rally was held on the occasion.
