According to an official release, nine tribal youths hailing from Pudurnadu, Pungampattu Nadu and Nellivasal Nadu in the Pudurnadu field area of the Pudhuvazhvu scheme, two youths from Kallapadi panchayat, and one each from Melalathur, Ramalai and Seruvangi panchayats were imparted training in driving under the Pudhuvazhvu scheme.
The Collector also distributed the order for payment of monthly assistance of Rs.1000 to Palani, a differently-abled person in the Arunthathiyar Colony in Sembedu village.
