Ranipet City Council President Ms. S Chithra informed that the project activities to set up an electrical crematorium in Pinji Crematorium, Ranipet will start in 15 days.
The city Council ordinary meeting was conducted on Monday, 24th March. All senior officials participated.
Point raised in the meeting:
- 16th Ward member Ezley (DMK) – No work was carried out in this ward on the road & sewage maintenance. The request for setting up a deep bore-well has also been pending.
- 11th Ward Member Radhakrishnan (DMK) – Encroachments were removed from Ranipet Old Bus terminus area using the Assmbly allocation fund for setting up shelters. So far, work has not started. When will the Pinji cremation ground electrical crematorium work start?
- 7th Ward Member Ramadoss (PMK) – Roadside drainage facilities have not been started in this ward. A resting place should be provided for the Auto drivers in the newly built Muthukadai Bus Terminus.
Ms. Chithra answered all the points and gave the status & plans.
