Mr. Mark Zuckerberg was participating in a programme organized at Facebook Head Office in the sate of California. The event was telecast thrugh live-streaming.While addressing the gathering, Mr. Zuckerberg informed there has been a long-time demand from the customers to introduce and activate a ‘dislike’ button just like the existing ‘like’ button.

It is true that pressing the ‘like’ button on news items involving some tragic events or untoward incidents is not really ethical. Hence, there is a need for another button beyond the existing ‘like’ to enable customers to register their feelings and this will be introduced shortly.

This feature will be tested first, the effects will be analyzed and then a decision will be taken to introduce it as a regular feature.
