A fund of Rs. 6.28 Crores is allotted for the best students (male & female) scholarship.

As compared to the developed nations, India needs to develop faster in the field of education.

There are 750 universities and 40000 colleges in the country.

High quality educational institutions should be set up as per the population growth.

Currently, the government reserves 4% for school education and 1% for higher education. This is not sufficient. It should be increased.

Students Prithvi Sarkar (selected by TCS as the best student) and Rishab Saha (selected by CTS as the best student) were awarded gold medals and cash prizes.

VIT vice-chancellors also participated on the occasion.
