Governments Enjoin to Endow Amma Theatres – Directors Association Imparts Thanks Chief Minister

During the announcement of Corporation Budget 2014-2015, it has been stated that vacant land in various parts of the city will be chosen soon for constructing as many as Amma Theatres and also the tickets would be affordable for the poor and the middle class.

This announcements has been over welcomed and be grateful by the Tamil Cinema Directors Association.Regarding the Amma Theatres, below furnished the statements given by Director Association Chief, K.R to pressman:

Now-a-days in the Tamil Cinema World, several small budget films are struggling to get published in exorbitant theatres. In this stance, the announcement on Amma theatres will appease the scenario and thanks to Chief Minister, avowed by K.R.

On the day of the announcement on Amma Theatres, Chennai High Court also provides its pacifying judgment in favor of Tamil Cinema Directors Association.

The case filled by S. Thanu, against the Tamil Cinema Directors Association has been rebated by the Chennai High court. Hence the Tamil Cinema Directors association can take its development measure without stinting, stated by K.R.

Several measures like furnishing health insurance for family members of the directors, regulation on film release dates, proper advertisements arrangements and so on will be taken care, he added.
