A total of 56,568 candidates will take the Group-4 exam of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) across Vellore district on December 21.
The written examination will be conducted in 116 schools and 36 colleges at nine centres – Vellore, Ambur, Arakkonam, Arcot, Gudiyatham, Katpadi, Tirupattur, Vaniyambadi and Walajapet.
The training for chief supervisors, mobile unit officials, flying squad officials and various department officials was conducted on Friday.
Information on the examination and rules were explained during the meeting.
Each examination hall will have a policeman for security
Arrangements for special buses for the candidates have been made. They are not allowed to take cell phones, calculator, pager or any other electronic devices inside the exam hall.
In Katpadi centre, examination hall no: 04, PMKV Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Kangeyanallur is TMKV Government Girls Higher Secondary School.
