Food products like milk * milk-related dairy products, eggs, wheat, purified carbohydrate, sugar, and beer, if taken in larger quantities, will lead to infections in the ears. Chemically conditioned food items lead to production of mucus. By avoiding these specified food items and replacing them with fresh fruits and vegetables will prevent ear infection.
When we work in places where winter season is rather severe, higher level of blood gets circulated to the main organs of our body leading to chilling of organs like ears and hands. During these times, it is better to keep the ears covered with ear-muffs or scarves.
Wear gloves to protect and keep the hands warm. It is advisable to ensure prevention of water entering through the ears while taking our daily bath.
If you find the ears a bit dirty, do not indulge in cleaning it yourself with ear-buds. Avoid pouring oil/water in the ears without any medical expert advice.Remember, if the hearing ability is lost, it cannot be cured!
Emergency treatment for earache Always take warm food items. Avoid chilled water and food-stuff. This will increase ear infection.
Use ear drops for cleaning the ears. Apply small quantity of nutmeg oil rubbing it around the ears.
