A human-chain formation was conducted in Vellore Mary’s college yesterday (22nd January) to create awareness about Voters’ Day.
College Principal, Mr. Arulappan, presided over the occasion.
College students participating shouted the slogan, ‘I am proud to be a voter; Ready to cast my vote’!
Leaflets carrying awareness info were distributed to the public.
The human chain extended from Mary’s college till Vellore Tirupathi Devasthanam.
An essay competition on the topic, ‘ I am proud to be a voter’ was conducted. Poetry competition and elocution competition were also held.
All senior academicians & all students participated.
