India won the last ODI (One Day International) cricket match in the ongoing series against New Zealand by 9 wickets can won the series.
The fifth and the last ODI match was played in Bangalore Chinnasamy Stadium grounds.
New Zealan won the toss and batted. However, the team could not sustain excellent onslaught of India bowlers and lost wickets quickly.
New Zealand scored 118 runs losing all their wickets in 41 overs. Captain Suzie Bates scored 42 runs and Anna Peterson scored 22 runs. Other batswomen were out cheaply.

India scored 121 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 27.2 overs and won by a huge margin of 9 wickets.
Trishkamini scored 62 runs off 78 balls with 13 4’s while Deepti Sharma scored 44 runs off 78 balls with 8 4’s. Both remained not out.
Thus, India won the 5 match ODI series by a score of 3-2.
