A husband of one of the nurses working in Yemen has requested the government to help get her back to India.
Nurse Nirmala (age: 45) is the wife of Mr. Amalanathan. She has been working in Yemen as a nurse in the Yemen Military Hospital.Amalanthan’s brother, Joshua Ebenezer is also working as an Assistant in Yemen Military Hospital.
The internal war in Yemen has intensified over the last few weeks. Indians are struggling to return to India.
Bombs were thrown near the Yemen Military Hospital and electricity was cut. Mr. Amalanathan got the news that people inside the military hospital were struggling for fod and water.
Mr. Amalanathan submitted a petition to the District Collector, Mr. R. Nandhagopal on Friday, 3rd April. He had requested immediate action to get his wife back to India.
