Medical professionals who are qualified with post-graduation digress like M D or M S have the immediate job opportunity at government hospitals in Tamil Nadu (only state to offer this). This was informed by Human Resources Development Minister,Mr. C. Vijayabhaskar.
He was conferring graduation course after completing medical college for 87 graduates in the convocation conducted by Vellore Government College on Wednesday, 1st April.
He told that there is a lot of difference between medical profession & other professions. Medical professionals get more respect & revered treatment as they offer a noble service of reliving people from suffering.
Under the AIADMK rule, poor section people have been given an opening to enter medical colleges. 2555 students are graduating from the medical colleges from Tamil Nadu this year.
Over the last 4 years, the total number of seats has been increase by 610 seats.
In this year’s budget, Rs. 20000 Crores have been allotted for Education department and Rs. 8245 Crores have been allotted for Health department. For the health department the amount allotted has doubled from the previous year of Rs. 4505 Crores.
Tamil Nadu government has made great achievements in the fields of prevention of infectious & non-infectious diseases, prevention of delivery deaths, and medical insurance policy. The state has grown to be a pioneer in health related projects and activities.
On-line job opportunities
There is an immediate job opportunity for those who have completed medical course.. 8945 new hospitals have been opened over the last 4years. 7571 MBBS graduates have secured jobs.
Tamil Nadu government has introduced the scheme of offering immediate jobs to the post-graduate medical students when they apply on-line without any written examinations or interviews.
.4333 individuals have been appointed under this scheme.
Vacancies will be filled up through these on-line applications once in 3 months.
The minister informed that 2051 persons have been appointed through the medical recruitment board.
Schools Education Minister, Mr. K C Veeramani informed that Tamil Nadu is leading in the departments of health & education. Medical graduated here should play an important role in achieving the state’s 2023 long-range vision.
