The Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Kumar has said arrangements have been made for live streaming of the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections and the by-election to the Alandur Assembly Constituency…The Assembly segment camera will show the counting process, whereas the Returning Officer’s camera will focus on the round-wise results on a digital board.
A website, public.gelsws.in, has been created. It can be accessed by the public to view live streaming. A viewer needs to register her/his name and phone number in the register page of the website. On registration, she/he will receive an SMS with a temporary user name and a password on the mobile number.
